As I’m sure you are aware the B6047 stretch of the ‘Rutland TT’ route has seen too many tragic road traffic incidents, including a recent fatality.
Many residents have contacted me time and time again to raise their concerns about the dangerous speeding on the route, often by those who have travelled from far away.
I have launched a petition calling for Leicestershire County Council to install average speed cameras along the B6047. The petition can be found on my website using the link below, and I am happy to post out paper copies for those that may struggle to register their support online.
