As part of our continued commitment to Rutland’s enhanced bus partnership scheme and Bus service improvement plan, the Rutland County Council Transport Team will be holding drop-in sessions around the county during the next 4 months, in an attempt to reach existing and potential bus passengers for their valuable feedback. In addition to our bus panel meetings and open bus user forums, it was suggested by bus users that smaller drop-in sessions may be of benefit to them, so we have listened and are taking action.
The aim of these sessions is to offer residents opportunities, closer to home, to feedback on all things relating to public transport in the county. The transport sector has been heavily affected as a result of the covid-19 pandemic and passenger usage has not recovered well. Talking to the residents of Rutland will help us to review our bus network and plan accordingly for any future changes in an inclusive way.
The first of our drop-in sessions will take place at Uppingham Library on Friday 28th April 2023 between 9.30am and 11.30am.
Any support you can provide with the promotion of this would be gratefully received. If you have any additional queries, please do not hesitate to contact our team transport@rutland.gov.uk
