Four Year Plan Consultation 2020 – 2024

October 28, 2020 By Caroline Adams

Inside November’s edition of the Village News will be a loose questionnaire from the Parish Council for the residents of Ryhall and Belmesthorpe to complete.

As part of its Four Year Plan, Ryhall Parish Council is considering certain initiatives to improve / upgrade facilities within the parish.  We would like to know what level of support there is for these initiatives.

If there is support we need to know whether residents would be agreeable to an increase in the parish precept next April to provide funding for them, in part or in whole,

given that reductions in budgets make it unlikely that Rutland County Council (RCC) will be able to fund.

The initiatives in question are all designed to improve the quality of our environment. During the lockdown period, most of us spent much more time in and around our two villages

and it may well be that we will continue to do so long after the pandemic is over.  The Parish Council is seeking ways in which we can improve village life and make the locality more attractive

to spend time in and safe for recreation.

We urge you to find ten minutes to complete the short questionnaire  please (only four topics )  and to pop the completed form -which will be totally annonymous-  into the Parish Council Mail box on the outside  wall of the Village Hall.

Your  Councillors are very much hoping for a maximum return from the 750 we are distributing- your opinion really counts and  it is an ideal opportunity to communicate with us. We want to be guided by you.

Thank you in advance for your time.
